STEM can look different in every classroom. There are many subjects that fall under the STEM umbrella—especially when you look at CTE (Career and Technical Education) pathways. In fact, there are over 30+ CTE pathways available to high schools students across the nation.

Focus on just a few STEM subjects so you can teach with depth and fidelity. The subjects you see in this image are the core focus areas I chose inspired by on my own state’s CTE pathways. This helps ensure that what I teach is purposeful, aligned, and builds toward future opportunities.
